A new group of 141 migrants arrived in Venezuelan national territory this Tuesday on a direct flight from the United States, as part of the Great Mission Return to the Homeland program.
It was reported through a Telegram account that the Venezuelan compatriots were deported from the US as part of Donald Trump’s policy of attacking migrants.
To date, 5,671 Venezuelans have returned to the country, thanks to the efforts promoted by President Nicolás Maduro’s government for the safe and dignified return of fellow Venezuelans.
Last Friday, June 6, a total of 192 compatriots from Texas arrived at the Simón Bolívar Maiquetía International Airport in La Guaira, as part of the Return to the Homeland Plan.
It is important to note that upon disembarking the plane and complying with immigration protocols for entry into the country, the National Public Health System (SPNS) activates an integrated medical care circuit staffed by 150 healthcare professionals. This includes a general evaluation, registration, measurement of vital signs, as well as gynecology and obstetrics services for women and pregnant individuals, vaccinations, and blood testing to rule out infectious diseases.
This deployment is made possible by the health policies promoted by the National Government led by President Nicolás Maduro, together with the Minister of People’s Power for Health, who remains committed to the protection and well-being of Venezuelans, advancing repatriation programs and comprehensive assistance for compatriots returning to their homeland.
