The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, received on Wednesday at the “Casa Amarilla” the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, upon her arrival in Venezuela at the invitation of the President Nicolás Maduro Moros.
The “Simón Bolívar Children’s and Youth Symphony Orchestra” youth received Bachelet with a brief repertoire of Venezuelan music as a token of brotherhood and an example of the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace.
Immediately afterwards, the chancellor, together with the international guest, entered the Alba Room where they would start the working meeting.

The former president of Chile, current representative of the UN, visits Venezuela especially invited by the Bolivarian Government and will be in the country until Friday, June 21.
In addition to the meeting in the “Casa Amarilla”, she will have contacts with President Maduro in Miraflores Palace, as well as other authorities of the Public Powers and opposition activists.
The National President expressed his positive expectation in the afternoon on the visit of the high-ranking international official, assuring that he hopes that it contributes to improve the human rights system enjoyed by Venezuelans.

Bachelet arrived in Maiquetía in the late afternoon of Wednesday, where the protocolary authorities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed her to the Homeland of Bolívar.
