This Monday the First International Communication Congress kicked off in Caracas, organized by the Vice Presidency of Agitation, Propaganda and Communication of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), with the motto Now the People Speak, to counteract the media campaigns of misinformation and misrepresentation against social movements and countries that rise against the capitalist system.
The participation of 500 delegates from 45 countries is planned to create a common communication platform between the various national and international groups.

Among the topics to be discussed are Communication, hegemony and decolonization; Culture and psychological operations, as well as Digital networks.
The purpose of these days is to break paradigms in new communication management to satisfy the interest of the participants and promote the exchange of experiences, said journalist Helena Salcedo in statements to public media.
Invited to the congress: the Spanish journalist Ignacio Ramonet, in addition to so-called communication influencers, numerous young people active in digital communication. The event will be held at the Hotel Alba Caracas through Wednesday.
