Jane Regan is a multimedia journalist and scholar who has worked in and on Haiti for almost three decades. A specialist in social movement media, Regan is currently teaching journalism in Haiti, as well as coordinating Haiti Grassroots Watch. Winner of numerous awards, including the Samuel Chakvin Prize for Integrity in Latin American Journalism, Regan has also directed and/or co-produced several prize-winning documentary films for the Public Broadcasting System (PBS). She has written for the Miami Herald, the Sun Sentinel, Inter Press Service and numerous magazines, has shot for Associated Press Television News, Reuters, and various PBS projects, and has taught at the University of Massachusetts and Tufts University.
