Orinoco Tribune relies on Voluntary work but that is not sustainable. In order to have a small freelance staff we need at least to triple our current Patreon donation mark (close to 400 dollars today). Reaching that goal will allow us to hire a small staff and a much needed local reporter.
We encourage you to use our Patreon platform. We are planning to integrate better with Patreon soon. Whenever we reach our goal of tripling our current mark, we will start working on hiring a local reporter and developing an app. You can also use our Credit Card/paypal option (you do not need to open an account with paypal to do so).
We also still need volunteer proofreaders for our very flexible publishing schedule and they do not need to have WordPress experience.
