The Gaza Government Media Office announced on October 21 that only 986 aid trucks have entered the strip since the ceasefire took effect less than two weeks ago, representing just 15 percent of the 6,600 trucks that were supposed to be delivered by October 20.
The office said the convoys included only 14 trucks carrying cooking gas and 28 trucks transporting solar fuel used to power bakeries, generators, hospitals, and other essential facilities.
It added that the supply remains critically insufficient following months of blockade and âsystematic destruction caused by the genocide committed by the âIsraeliâ occupation against our people in the Gaza Strip.â
Officials said the average number of trucks entering Gaza each day since the ceasefire began on October 11 stands at only 89, far below the 600 daily trucks agreed upon.
The statement described the situation as evidence of Israelâs continued âpolicy of strangulation, starvation, and human blackmailâ against the almost 2 million residents in Gaza.

âThese limited quantities do not cover the minimum humanitarian and living needs,â the office warned, stressing the urgent need for a steady and unrestricted flow of at least 600 trucks daily, including food, medical and relief supplies, fuel, and cooking gas, to meet basic survival requirements.
The Government Media Office reiterated that Gazaâs authorities remain ready to coordinate with international humanitarian and relief organizations to facilitate the entry and distribution of aid across all governorates and essential sectors âfor the benefit of our steadfast Palestinian people.â
Since the ceasefire took effect in early October, the Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported around 90 Palestinians killed and over 300 injured in ongoing Israeli attacks across the strip, despite the declared truce, with at least 100 ceasefire violations reported.
The violent airstrikes come amid US assurances that the truce remains in place, with US President Donald Trump insisting the ceasefire was âstill in full effectâ and would be âhandled toughly but properly,â hours after Israeli raids killed over 40 Palestinians in Rafah and central Gaza.
Local officials said the bombings disrupted humanitarian convoys and delayed recovery efforts for bodies trapped beneath the rubble, worsening the already severe humanitarian crisis across the enclave.
