Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Monday that Turkey will continue to support the constitutional government of President Nicolás Maduro and his legitimate authorities. “Any negative evolution in Venezuela will influence all of Latin America and the Caribbean. We will keep our support for Venezuela and our cooperation with it,” Cavusoglu told a news conference.
In addition, the Turkish diplomat indicated that his country sees Nicolás Maduro as the legitimate president of Venezuela.

Cavusoglu also stressed that ” Venezuela is going through a difficult time, which is why the important thing is to continue reinforcing the solidarity and cooperation between both nations.”
“The continuous meetings of high authorities between Venezuela and Turkey reveal the profound cooperation between our countries. It is a relationship that will deepen,” he said.
Meanwhile, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza, who is on an official visit to the Turkish country, said that “we have more than quintupled bilateral cooperation between Venezuela and Turkey, and we will continue to increase our relationship in an integral manner.”

Venezuela and Turkey maintain a human and commercial relationship that increases with the passage of time. In addition, they have bilateral relations that strengthen the areas of construction, health, agriculture and tourism.
