On Wednesday, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expressed its concern about the violence that occurred in Washington DC, United States, in which protesters in favor of the outgoing president of the nation, Donald Trump, stormed Congress during the certification of Joe Biden. Through a communique, Venezuela expressed their wish that “the acts of violence cease and the American people can finally open a new path towards stability and social justice.”
In the violence incited by Donald Trump and permitted by the police, four deaths occurred and 52 protesters were reported injured. Right wing and supremacist groups were named by local media as the instigators of the mob attack on the US Capitol building.
