The Maiquetía International Airport Institute (IAIM) announced the extension of the international flights suspension from entering Venezuela with the exception of some priority/humanitarian flights.
This was confirmed through its instagram account this Saturday regarding the extension for 30 more days of the state of alarm decreed by President Nicolas Maduro, which has been in force since March 13 and reflects the national quarantine measure to slow down and control the advance of the coronavirus in Venezuela.

“In compliance with instructions from the national executive and in order to keep our users informed, we share part of the statement issued by #INAC, in which it reports the extension of the restriction on air operations in Venezuela until July 12,” said the IAIM.
The extension of the alarm status was published in Official Gazette 6,542, dated Thursday, June 11.
