The governor of Miranda State announced that on Tuesday afternoon the Tuy System was activated in order to normalize the water service in Caracas, La Guaira and “Valles del Tuy”.
With messages posted on Twitter, he also indicated that the protocols to power both the Caracas Metro and the railroad to “Valles del Tuy” were started.
“We inform our people that at 2:00 pm we are at 90% electric power transmission in Miranda state, we are in a process of stabilizing the service to guarantee its quality and flow in all municipalities,” he said in one of the messages.

He also noted that the government developed a special plan to take care of health centers, as well as patrol operations which were strengthened to ensure citizen security during the blackout.
“We appreciate the civics and solidarity that our people have demonstrated during this new attack. In times of difficulty, we embrace each other as a family and move forward” said Rodriguez, referring to the new electromagnetic attack on Monday against the National Electric System.
