Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt has claimed Nicholas Maduro is “not the legitimate leader of Venezuela” and reaffirmed his UK government’s support for opposition leader Juan Guaido.
Hunt said: “It is clear that Nicholas Maduro is not the legitimate leader of Venezuela… the United Kingdom believes Juan Guaido is the right person to take Venezuela forward.”
A spokesperson for the UK Labour Party stated: “We oppose outside interference in Venezuela” and called for a “peaceful dialogue” and “negotiated settlement”.

Earlier a spokesperson for the prime minister said that the 2018 presidential poll was neither free nor fair, stating that the UK fully backed Guaido, Reuters reports.
This move was more than expected following the US traditional Coup D’Etat script and now it’s only a matter of time to see how many others puppet European countries follow the move.
