* Democratic House prepares “impeachment” against Donald Trump

January 7, 2019

Several members of the Democratic Party, deputies of the House of Representatives of the United States, presented a series of accusations against the US President Donald Trump, in order to “put in march its ‘impeachment’. “The accusations were presented last Thursday during the first day of the session of the new congress with Democratic majority, Russia Today posted last Friday.

Brad Sherman, a member of the Lower House of Congress, said through his Twitter account that he re-introduced, with legislator Al Green, the “articles of the ‘impeachment’ against Donald Trump.” “I have not changed the text of the articles I entered for the first time in 2017,” he said.

Refers RT that in the opinion of the Democrats, “the obstruction of Justice” is a crime “more clear and verifiable”, which has committed the president.

In his article, published in The Huffington Post, the official cites the statements of the then director of the FBI, James Comey, who said that Trump “threatened him in order to stop the investigation of former National Security Advisor Trump, Michael Flynn.”

For her part, congresswoman Rashida Tlaib published an article under the title ‘Now is the time to start the impeachment process against President Trump’.

“President Donald Trump is a direct and serious threat to our country. Almost daily attacks our Constitution, our democracy, the rule of law and the people who are in this country, “she said. “We already have the overwhelming evidence that the president has committed crimes,” Tlaib said and mentioned that among his crimes are the “abuse of power and abuse of public trust.”

It is not the first attempt of the Lower House of Congress to remove the American president. In December of 2017, the US House of Representatives rejected a draft resolution to initiate the impeachment of Donald Trump.
