The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, urged the people of Lara state to deploy the 1×10 electoral outreach strategy in all the streets of the region. The 1×10 method has been used by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) to bring more Chavista voters to the polls on election day.
During a phone-call with coordinator of the Venezuela Nuestra Presidential Campaign Staff, Delcy Rodríguez, who was present at an organizational meeting of electoral teams of the PSUV in Lara state, President Maduro pointed out that it is necessary to “renew all our discourse and our way of working” to optimize the electoral 1×10.
“Let’s deploy our work potential to mobilize the people for a splendid victory in Lara on July 28,” said the president, who commented that the electoral 1×10 strategy must be launched with a lot of motivation towards the people.
The president named that victory “depends on an electoral campaign with the truth in hand, with our 7T [Seven Transformations Plan] project, but above all on the great electoral machinery of the 1×10.”
He recognized and called to work 17,166 street leaders, 3,501 community leaders and the 1,130 members of the Units of Battle Hugo Chávez (UBCHs) of the region, because what is being defended is the independence of Venezuela, the right to national and cultural identity.
He recalled how, despite the sanctions and the great scam on the country by the far-right opposition, the economy has begun to recover, thanks to policies implemented by the government to slow down inflation.
“Let everyone draw their own conclusions,” said the head of state, adding that times of more growth, peace and stability are coming.
In addition to the vice president, the governor of Lara state, Adolfo Pereira, participated in the activity. The first vice president of the National Assembly (AN), deputy Pedro Infante; and the campaign coordinator for Lara state Ernesto Villegas were also present in the electoral activity.
