The independent expert of the United Nations (UN) Alfred de Zayas launched a survey on the social network Twitter about the support for the opposition deputy and self-proclaimed “interim president” of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, which resulted in a 90% of non approval for the deputy.
However, the human rights expert reported that the result “suddenly became a 70% majority”. “It is not the first time that surveys are manipulated electronically, it is very easy for computers to quickly get the ‘clicks’ to denaturalize a survey,” he added on the digital platform.
Currently (Saturday morning Caracas time) the NO toward Guaido is at 43% and 4 days left for the poll to finish.
De Zayas stressed that “in any case the important thing is to read the text of the Venezuelan Constitution”, “and whoever reads it, knows that Article 233 does not apply in the case of Guaidó and that therefore he has no legitimacy in the constitutional order of Venezuela,” he said.
Do you support the decision to recognise Juan #Guido as the interim President of #Venezuela?
