The crew is scheduled to participate in the military-civic parade on July 5.
The Northern Fleet of military ships of the Russian Navy, composed of the frigate Admiral Gorshkov and the oil tanker Akademik Pashin, arrived at the Venezuelan port of La Guaira.
The visit of the Russian flotilla arrived in the country as part of a planned visit on its tour of several Caribbean ports. It was previously in Havana, Cuba. The flotilla is expected to remain in the Venezuelan port until Saturday, July 6.

The squadron of ships also includes the nuclear-powered submarine Kazan and the rescue tug Nikolai Chiker.
The crew is also scheduled to participate in the military civic parade on July 5 in commemoration of Venezuela’s independence. Likewise, the crew will visit the National Pantheon and the Mountain Barracks in Caracas, reported Sputnik.
