The Head of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Tania D’Amelio, invited the Venezuelans to verify if they are members of the local board for the elections to the Municipal Councils [for aldermen and alderwomen] to be held on December 9.
Through his Twitter account, he said that Venezuelans who are in the Electoral Registry can verify if he/she corresponds to be a member of the Electoral Power visiting their web portal.
“We invite all citizens to verify if they were selected as members of the Electoral Board, by going to http://www.cne.gob.ve/web/index.php and placing their respective identity card numbers in the field of Consult your Data, “he said.
He also indicated that you can also consult by means of a text message to the number 2637.
He recalled that last Friday, November 23, began the process of training of the members of the local boards for these elections.
On Sunday December 9 will be elected 2,459 aldermen and alderwomen, with their respective alternates. Of that total, 1,704 are nominal positions, 686 per list and 69 will be elected by indigenous organizations and communities.
