“The greatest danger is yet to come with the refinement of artificial intelligence ( AI ) capabilities , such as facial and pattern recognition,” said Snowden, according to the RT web portal.
He stressed that they intend to create a surveillance camera equipped with AI, a device that is used for recordings, which would be becoming “something closer to an automated police officer.”
