Several planes have lost up to an hour of travel because they have avoided making their usual flights over Venezuela’s airspace.
This was reported by the journalist and correspondent of HispanTV in Caracas, Marcos Salgado, through a message posted on his Facebook account, where he explained that among the airlines that have modified their routes are: Avianca, from Colombia; Iberia, from Spain, as well as several Argentine companies, whose flights are destined for the cities of Madrid and Barcelona.
Although until now none of the companies or aeronautical entities have issued any official statement on these restrictions, the social communicator said that “clearly, there is an order not to fly over Venezuela.”
