
Caracas, July 12, 2020.- On the morning of this Sunday, a tremor of magnitude 5.2 was reported in Venezuela, which was felt in various areas of the country. The first unofficial reports indicate that the earthquake was felt in almost all the western part of the country, with its epicenter in Portuguese state, very close to the town of Guanare.
Users on social networks and international agencies reported that the quake was felt slightly in various states of the country, which produced a certain alarm among the population.

For its part, the Venezuelan Seismological Research Foundation (Funvisis), reported through its official Twitter account that the earthquake was registered at 11:08 am, with a magnitude of 5.2, 11 km northeast of Biscucuy, Portuguese state, with a depth of 5.0 km.
