Plan ‘Vuelta a la patria’, promoted by the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, will allow 300 migrants to leave Peru.
In order to return to their homeland, a group of Venezuelan citizens went to the Venezuelan Embassy in Lima this Friday to complete the paperwork that will allow them to board the next flight of the plan called “Return to the Fatherland” [Plan Vuelta a la Patria] , promoted by the Government of Venezuela through President Nicolás Maduro.
The flight, scheduled for December 29, will allow 300 llanero citizens to return to their country from Peru.
The flight, transcended, will leave tomorrow. For this reason, a large number of Venezuelans lined in front at the headquarters of the diplomatic representation of their country to weigh the contents of their luggage, as they are only allowed to carry 23 Kg in the as check-in luggage and 8 Kg for 1 carry-on.
The foreigners [non Venezuelans] who want to leave Lima had to send a letter addressed to the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro. In the letter, the interested to travel to Venezuela have to explain to the head of state why they want to return to their country.
After the presentation of documents, the Venezuelan Embassy evaluated the particular situation of each of the migrants who requested their return to Venezuela.
