Caracas (OrinocoTribune.com)—In three flights on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week, 728 Venezuelan migrants returned to Venezuela through the Return to the Homeland Program launched by President Nicolás Maduro’s administration. The program has grown since US President Donald Trump launched its aggressive and racist migration policy targeting mostly non-white migrants.
This Wednesday, July 9, a total of 203 Venezuelans arrived in the country on a Conviasa flight after being expelled from the US, of whom 154 were men and 49 were women. Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello reported that three of the 49 women who returned to their country on this flight claimed that “four children had been taken from them,” two of them from a single mother.
On Thursday, July 10, a group of 324 Venezuelan migrants, mostly women and children, returned on a Conviasa flight from Mexico. Of the total, 101 were women, 83 were men, and 140 were children. This information was reported by the Ministry of the Interior and Justice in a statement shared on social media.

Since Donald Trump’s arrival at the White House, an aggressive harassment policy against Latino migrants has been launched in the United States. In the case of Venezuela, the policy has been accompanied by a smear campaign accusing Venezuelan migrants of belonging to the Tren de Aragua criminal gang.
So far, only one of the thousands of repatriated migrants has been verified as belonging to this nearly defunct criminal gang.
Groups of repatriated Venezuelans land at SimĂłn BolĂvar International Airport in MaiquetĂa, La Guaira state, where authorities perform Return to the Homeland Program protocols focused on criminal background checks, physical and psychological health checks, and documentation assistance.
On Friday, July 11, a total of 201 repatriated Venezuelans arrived on Venezuelan soil at the SimĂłn BolĂvar International Airport from a flight from Texas on a US airline. This was also reported by Venezuela’s Interior Ministry on social media.
This flight included 16 children, 159 men, and 26 women who were treated by officials from law enforcement and healthcare agencies, providing them with comprehensive care.
Venezuela Marches to Demand Release of Children Held in US Empire
Friday’s flight is the 43rd since President Trump’s arrival at the White House. According to official data, 7,913 Venezuelans have returned to their country thanks to the Return to the Homeland Program. The government program aims to facilitate the voluntary return of migrants to Venezuela, including those deported by the United States.
Last week, the Venezuelan authorities condemned the forced separation of 18 children from their repatriated parents. With the arrival of new flights and the filing of more relatives’ complaints, the figure has now been updated to 31 minors abducted by the US regime.
