This Friday, August 1, a new group of Venezuelans was repatriated from Texas, United States, on Flight 53 of the Return to the Homeland Program. This program has allowed over 9,000 Venezuelan migrants to return to the country free of charge this year alone.
The flight included 160 men, 30 women, seven boys, and 10 girls.
The Venezuelans were received by the authorities to implement the required protocol, which verifies their legal status and health condition.
Repatriation flights of Venezuelan migrants are typically carried out on Fridays. Many of the migrants have repatriation orders and have been confined to detention centers, separated from their children in many cases.

One of the most emblematic and unprecedented cases was the flight that brought 252 Venezuelans who were illegally sent to the Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT) in El Salvador by the Trump administration.
Following numerous complaints from Venezuelan authorities, all Venezuelans deported to the Salvadoran prison were repatriated after a complex negotiation with US officials.
