The US empire’s intervention plan in Venezuela follows the same guidelines as the multiple interventions it has carried out in many other parts of the world. It is developed using a single template, adapted to the specific characteristics of each attacked country, and has the flexibility of not being linear nor having a fixed completion date, but rather having several options for completion, as the most appropriate one will be chosen for a given situation.
It has an unlimited duration, which will depend on the difficulties encountered during its implementation, and includes the possibility of suspending or abandoning the attack altogether. It is almost a “come what may, we’ll see” approach, except that the “come what may” and “see what comes” are studied and planned with the most sophisticated existing methods of observation and analysis of reality. A team of specialists in different fields is permanently responsible for the program’s design and monitoring.
The above does not mean they are infallible, that they have total control over all the factors at hand, or that they possess everything necessary to be successful. If that were the case, the world would be lost. The first step is to discredit the declared enemy government in every field and setting, starting with presenting it as the aggressor. They “defend themselves,” and to do so, “unfortunately,” they have to go on the offensive.
This is what the genocidal Zionist entity they call Israel does; not in vain is it one of their greatest allies, along with the ever-present savage colonialists: the British. Secondly, they present it as a bloodthirsty tyrant of its own people, a savage possessed of every existing vice and capable of murdering its ancestors if necessary. The enemy is the instrument of the forces of evil, coming from hell itself, which also constitutes a threat to the rest of the free, healthy, honest, just, and good world.
These objectives are achieved through the transnationalized mainstream press, committed only to the imperial interests that finance it, and through individual journalists or communicators willing to sell their souls to the devil, especially if he is disguised as God. Meanwhile, a perverse economic and financial plan is developed to stifle the enemy’s economy, so that it cannot even lift its head a bit, breathe a breath, or take a break that would allow it to regain its strength. The empire gives no respite.
A final element, necessary for the plan’s success, is the existence of an internal opposition capable of carrying out its role of damaging resistance to the intervention, hindering the required national unity, fueling popular discontent, and deploying acts of internal sabotage, further compromising the government’s need to survive.
Within these Machiavellian intervention programs, events that provide the imperial aggressor with a pretext to initiate the final phase of the plan play a very important role: invasion, armed incursion, targeted assassination, extraction or a combination of these. For example, in 1846, north of the Rio Grande in México, a US imperial patrol, under presidential orders, was carrying out an illicit mission in Mexican territory and was confronted by Mexican forces.
This action gave the US empire the motive to declare war on México, which resulted in the US empire retaining Texas and seizing the rich territories of Alta California and New Mexico. In 1898, the battleship USS Maine exploded and sank in Havana harbor, which the US empire used to declare war on Spain, after accusing it of aggression. In the 1970s, it was concluded that the sinking was not due to a mine, but rather an internal explosion. The war gave the US empire control of Cuba, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Philippines.
President Petro: ‘Colombia Will Not Lend its Territory to Any Invasion’
In 1964, in the Gulf of Tonkin, US colonial intelligence presented two Vietnamese naval attacks: one induced by the US empire upon entering North Vietnamese territorial waters, and another that never occurred, but was entirely fabricated, as a reason to deepen the Vietnam War. Documents declassified in 2005 show that President Johnson and Defense Secretary Robert McNamara falsified these incidents for their sinister purposes. To invade Panama in 1989, the US colony also used an incident involving a US Navy officer who was shot at a roadblock following a confrontation.
The most recent case of the Venezuelan fishing boat, sunk by the Fourth Fleet with a missile, along with its Venezuelan crew, for allegedly transporting drugs, is a fabrication by experts in controlled drug deliveries, a nefarious “false positive” that used real, poor Venezuelan youth, murdering them, and whose families are still mourning today. So let’s be on alert, then.
