A new group of 135 Venezuelan migrants arrived in Venezuela this Tuesday on a direct flight from the United States (US), as part of the Great Return to the Homeland Mission promoted by the government of President Nicolás Maduro.
With this new group, the number of Venezuelans who have returned to the country this year rises to 5,735.
Nationals arriving in the country must comply with immigration entry protocols. To this end, the National Public Health System (SPNS) maintains a comprehensive medical care network, comprised of 150 healthcare professionals. This includes general evaluation, registration, and vital sign monitoring. It also provides gynecology and obstetrics services for women and pregnant women, vaccinations, and blood screening to rule out communicable diseases.
Vuelta a la Patria Program: 150 Venezuelan Migrants Return from the US
This deployment is being achieved thanks to the health policies promoted by the National Government, led by President Nicolás Maduro, along with the Minister of People’s Power for Health, Magaly GutiĂ©rrez. They remain committed to working for the protection and well-being of Venezuelans, promoting repatriation programs and comprehensive assistance for Venezuelans returning to their homeland.
