Caracas (OrinocoTribune.com)âThe countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our AmericaâPeople’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) condemned in the strongest terms on Sunday, June 22, the military attack by the United States government against civilian and nuclear facilities in Iran, particularly the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan complexes.
The multilateral bloc released its position in a statement published on social media. The alliance stated this aggression violates the United Nations Charter, international law, and basic principles of peaceful coexistence, calling it an unacceptable act of war that endangers global security and destabilizes the region.

In a major escalation, US President Donald Trump announced Sunday afternoon that US forces carried out overnight airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump posted on his Truth Social account on June 21. “All planes are now outside of Iranian airspace. A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site, #Fordow.”
Later, from the White Houseâescorted by Vice President J.D. Pence, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete HegsethâTrump confirmed the attack. He characterized it as a successful military operation that “obliterated” Iranian nuclear sites, while acknowledging US coordination with “Israel” since that country’s initial attacks against Iran last week.
Unofficial translation of ALBA-TCP statement:
The countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) condemn in the strongest terms the military attack perpetrated by the United States government against peaceful civilian and nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan complexes.
This flagrant aggression violates the United Nations Charter, international law, and the most basic principles of peaceful coexistence. It constitutes an unacceptable act of war that endangers global security and further destabilizes the region. It violates the international nuclear security regime and the norms and safeguards of the IAEA.
ALBA expresses its firm and unwavering solidarity with the Iranian people, victims once again of the United States’ interventionist policies, which act with impunity while ignoring the right of peoples to self-determination and threatening world peace.
We demand an immediate cessation of these illegal and unilateral actions, and we call on the international community to speak out forcefully against this attack on Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
ALBA reaffirms its unwavering commitment to peace, justice, respect for international law, and peaceful coexistence among nations. We warn of the serious consequences this dangerous military escalation could have for global stability.
