Aleida Guevara addresses the Lebanese people in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the country, expressing her solidarity with the people and their steadfastness.
In a letter of solidarity with the Lebanese people, Aleida Guevara, Che Guevara’s daughter, conveyed her heartfelt support emphasizing her unwavering commitment to stand by them during this challenging time.
She addressed the Lebanese people by writing, “To my dear Lebanese brothers and sisters, I send you a heartfelt embrace filled with love from around the world. You are not alone.”
Guevara expressed her deep concern with the situation, “We are seeking ways to support you… to understand how we can stand by you more effectively and draw closer together.”
In a call for a united front against the occupation, she stressed, “We hope for your active involvement, ensuring that it’s not just Hezbollah standing alone, but that all of you unite as one.”
“A response is imperative… You must carry enough strength to defeat this enemy once and for all.”
‘This enemy deserves no respect’
She highlighted that the Lebanese people must be steadfast in their struggle and “move forward with all the love and courage we possess as people to combat such a brutal enemy – an enemy that deserves no respect and does not value human life.”
Reiterating the importance of facing the enemy, she em, “We must confront and crush this enemy; we have no other choice. We cannot continue to allow them to kill innocent women, men, and children—accepting this is simply unacceptable.”
Guevara referred to the Lebanese as comrades, emphasizing that “We must move forward and seek out the sources of strength wherever we can. As a united people, let us unite all our efforts to achieve this goal.”
“I stand with you, even if I am very far away.”
Guevara assured the Lebanese that she is “at their disposal” whenever needed, assuring that “nothing can stand in the way of that,” adding “You can count on me for whatever is necessary—move forward.”

‘Israel’ continues bombarding civilian towns
Since the aggression on Lebanon began on October 8, the overall death toll has reached 1,247, with 5,278 injured, many of whom are civilians, including women and children. More than half of these casualties have occurred within the past three days as the occupation intensifies its operations.
Israeli airstrikes have primarily targeted southern and eastern Lebanon, with a series of raids conducted on towns such as Kawthariyet El-Saiyad, Toul, Kfarsir, and Kfarhatta, where a house was destroyed.
These attacks follow earlier bombardments of villages across southern Lebanon, including Adaisseh, al-Hosh, Burj al-Shamali, Majdal Zoun, Kfar Kila, Kfara, Yater, Eastern Zawtar, Adloun, Mays al-Jabal, Aita al-Shaab, Kfar Chouba, Haddatha, and Haris. Other areas impacted include Ras al-Usta in Byblos, Hermel in the east, and Douris near Baalbek, with two people injured in Ras al-Usta.
