CEOFANB Commander: Military Drills Guarantee Venezuela’s Defense

He reported that “we are here in the Fort Cacique Manaure, gathered in order to execute an exercise with combat tactical units and combined weapons that we will see in different armored mediums, mechanized artillery with our troops and also the work of internal [military] order to guarantee order for the citizenry.”

Ceballos said that in all regions they have city defense exercises, but also for the reduction of harm from any foreign force that wants to intervene in Venezuela and a territorial deployment in the east, west, south, center and north of the country.
“The Army, the Navy, the Bolivarian Military Aviation and the Militia are ready so that we can do different command and control exercises that guarantee the efficient use of the weapons systems, together with the power of that Bolivarian National Militia that is in all parts of the national territory”, he detailed.
Finally, he sent a message to the Bolivarian people and stressed that “the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela orders us in article 130 to defend the homeland and there is a principle of joint responsibility where the people and the Armed Forces together must guarantee the defense of Venezuela”
