Three days after announcing the deployment of the Kfir Brigade to join the month-long ongoing ground operation in northern Gaza Strip, yesterday the enemy army pulled back its forces from all northern areas it had previously occupied. The military vehicles withdrew from the center of the Jabalia refugee camp, the Al-Fakhoura area to the west of the camp, and the As-Saftawi area, while maintaining positions that prevent displaced people from returning to the camp. The enemy continues to impose a ring of fire around all areas of the zone of operations and surrounding neighborhoods.
However, this retreat, which had been accompanied by several hours of unusual calm, was later reversed. Yesterday afternoon, enemy drones, equipped with explosive projectiles, targeted the third floor of the Kamal Adwan hospital once again, launching a large number of shells at gatherings of civilians and shelters. The army continued to commit large-scale massacres, specifically by targeting multi-story homes that were sheltering hundreds of displaced people. They bombed a home belonging to the Al-Radi family, and another belonging to the Shahin family, both of which were sheltering hundreds of displaced people. This resulted in a large number of martyrs and wounded people.
The scale of the ongoing genocide, with the rising number of martyrs, has surged since the beginning of the attack on Jabalia and northern Gaza, reaching 1,800 martyrs, in addition to hundreds of wounded and more than 600 detained. Medical sources, who spoke with Al-Akhbar, estimate that the actual number of victims is likely far higher than reported so far, especially since hundreds of martyrs have been left under the rubble of their homes due to the disruption of ambulance and civil defense operations. These sources explain, “We are talking about homes being bombed, and everyone inside them dying, with news of them only reaching us after a day or two. What we are living through in northern Gaza is truly catastrophic. We are being exterminated in the literal sense of the word.”

In contrast, the military wings of the resistance factions announced the execution of several successful combat missions. Al-Qassam Brigades reported that their fighters successfully targeted an infantry unit that had taken cover inside a house near the Yemen Al-Saeed shelter center in the Jabalia refugee camp. The brigades stated that the fighters launched two rockets, an RPG and a Tandem, at the unit, causing casualties among its members, both killed and wounded. They also reported that their fighters targeted the Netzarim checkpoint with mortar shells and released a video showing their fighters detonating a powerful explosive device that killed four soldiers and destroyed a Merkava tank in the Al-Qusassib neighborhood in the center of Jabalia camp. According to Al-Qassam’s statement, the four soldiers had been fleeing from a house that the resistance had hit with an RPG, and as they approached the tank, the fighters detonated the explosive device.
Additionally, Al-Qassam’s Military Media released a video showing the resistance fighters launching a missile barrage from deep within the besieged northern Gaza areas towards the settlement of Sderot. Meanwhile, Islamic Jihad’s Al-Quds Brigades announced that their fighters had successfully detonated a Thaqib type explosive device against a military vehicle near the Civil Administration site east of Jabalia camp.
