Venezuelan Minister for the Interior, Justice and Peace Diosdado Cabello criticized the comments by former US National Security Advisor John Bolton about a US-Venezuela dialogue.
During the broadcast of his program Con El Mazo Dando on Wednesday, October 16, Cabello stated that the only negotiation that can take place is if the fascists and terrorists want to surrender.
“The only negotiation that can happen is if the terrorists and the fascists want to surrender, because if not, we are going to hunt them down. That is the only negotiation, there is no other,” asserted Cabello.
Cabello made this statement after John Bolton said in an interview that “the only negotiation the United States should have with President Nicolás Maduro is about what he wants for lunch on the plane that will take him to Cuba,” insinuating an overthrow of the Venezuelan government and no possibility of US-Venezuela talks.
The minister stated that Bolton is part of the opposition from outside Venezuela.
Cabello called Bolton “a failure and a clown, because he had all the power to overthrow the Bolivarian Revolution and he could not.”
