The head of Nicolas Maduro’s campaign staff, Jorge RodrĂguez, has responded to international media and news agencies that operate in the country, demanding that they respect the truth and not feed in to the fantasies of the Venezuelan far-right.
RodrĂguez mentioned that CNN is at the forefront of a media campaign that supports the far right’s intention to ignore the results of next Sunday’s presidential elections, blatantly ignoring the large mobilizations of the Venezuelan people who have come out to meet President Nicolás Maduro during his rallies all over Venezuela.

RodrĂguez told the media, “Don’t take false flag positions again like you did with GuaidĂł.”
Previously, through a statement, the Venezuelan Foreign Press Association said that the accusations against it for actively taking sides in the political debate for the presidential election campaign were unfounded.
