Venezuelan Minister for Electric Power, Néstor Reverol, held a meeting this Monday with Chinese companies in the electricity sector to strengthen the National Electric System (SEN) and establish new lines of work.
Through his official account on the Instagram social media network @ReverolNestor, he said: “At the instruction of President Nicolás Maduro we are drawing up strategic alliances with Chinese companies in the electricity sector to strengthen our system. We will win!”

It should be noted that Minister Reverol recently received a visit from Javier Cid Carbonell, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mines of the Republic of Cuba, along with representatives of the embassy of this sister nation, in which they reviewed bilateral agreements on energy matters.

At this meeting Reverol explained that: “We are committed to maintaining cooperative alliances to strengthen the system and achieve its complete stabilization, we also benefit from their experiences to generate initiatives that allow us to combat the brutal economic and financial blockade, and to maintain the operation of the National Electric System.”
These activities are part of the new plans and strategies to strengthen the SEN, for the benefit of the Venezuelan people, promoted by the Venezuelan government, using the recently approved Anti-Blockade law as legal tool. This law has been approved to counter the adverse effects of US sanctions on the Venezuelan economy and quality of life of the Venezuelan population.
