The enemy waited for ambulance and civil defense crews to arrive at a residential home it had bombed last night in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City. It then struck the site again, targeting journalists and civil defense teams. This resulted in the martyrdom of Officer Ali Omar and injuries to others. According to the spokesperson for the Civil Defense Force, Major Mahmoud Basal, the occupation army deliberately waited for health and media crews to gather at the targeted house, which sheltered dozens of children and women, and then repeated the attack. This led to the martyrdom of one medic and injuries to others, including journalist Hossam Shabat. The army spokesperson claimed Shabat was a member of Hamas to justify the attack.
As a result of this latest incident, the number of martyrs among civil defense teams has risen to 84. This behavior not only aims to exacerbate the deteriorating humanitarian situation but also seeks to intimidate journalists who ensure ongoing media coverage from the northern Gaza Strip, pressuring them to cease their work. Meanwhile, the occupation army intensifies its mass killings of displaced individuals and continues enforcing a policy of forced displacement on hundreds of thousands of people in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

The enemy army acknowledged the death of a soldier from the “Kfir” Brigade, and a battalion commander from the “Nahshon” unit.
On the ground, the occupation army intensified its airstrikes, targeting shelter centers in Beit Lahia. According to local sources, quad-copter drones targeted Al-Awda Hospital in the Tel Al-Zaatar neighborhood with explosive shells. The same drones dropped several bombs on Kamal Adwan Hospital and the Anni Al-Harthani School shelter in Beit Lahia, resulting in the martyrdom of three civilians and injuries to 10 others. Meanwhile, the army bombed three homes in the Sabra and Zeitoun neighborhoods in southern Gaza City, leading to the martyrdom of 18 people and injuries to 84 others. Additionally, the army escalated its demolition of homes in areas of Jabalia Camp, Beit Lahia, and Beit Lahia City.
In response, the military wings of the resistance factions announced several combat operations. The Qassam Brigades reported that their fighters managed to target two Merkava tanks with Yassin-105 shells in the Aslan neighborhood south of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. They also released images showing their operations and close-range engagements with occupation forces. The occupation army acknowledged the death of a soldier from the Kfir Brigade and a battalion commander from the Nahshon Unit during clashes with resistance fighters in Beit Lahia. This brings the total number of “Israeli” occupation soldiers and officers killed to 28 since the beginning of the military operation in Jabalia, over a month and a half ago.
