Venezuela has set up a collection center at the Foreign Ministry headquarters in Caracas to receive humanitarian aid. This center will help people affected by the genocidal campaign of the Israeli regime against Palestine and Lebanon in West Asia, stated Venezuela’s Foreign Minister Yván Gil.
This Monday, October 7, through a public statement, Gil highlighted that those who wish to contribute supplies to help these besieged sister peoples can do so with mattresses, tents, blankets, warm clothing, non-perishable food items, baby formulas and diapers, serums, gauze, antibiotics, disinfectants, iodine, and tools to remove debris (shovels, raincoats, safety glasses, and gloves).
The top Venezuelan diplomat also explained that the aforementioned collection center will be open in the Salvador Allende Hall, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in downtown Caracas, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Solidarity with our sister peoples in the Middle East is crucial in these times of imperialist fascism,” wrote FM Gil. “We invite you to come to the Foreign Ministry and make your donation to help those who need it most. Every effort counts.”

It is important to remember that, according to reports from the United Nations Children’s Fund, in the past 11 days, more than 100 children have been killed in Lebanon due to the recent bombings by Israeli occupation forces.
“According to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, at least 127 children have died in the past year and more than 100 in the past 11 days,” the ministry wrote in a press release in reference to Israeli criminal violence against the Arab people.
