* President Maduro Will be Sword in on January 10 Before the Supreme Court and Will be Recognized the 11th by the ANC

January 6, 2019

President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, after being sworn in on January 10 before the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), will go to the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), on Friday 11 to be recognized by the Original Power that convened the presidential elections, informed on Saturday the president of the Plenipotentiary Power, Diosdado Cabello.

“On the 11th the president should go before the National Constituent Assembly to be recognized by that Power, who was the one who called for elections. We comply with the provisions of the Constitution and with the precepts of the ANC and its suprapower, “he said.

Cabello, detailed that before the ANC, Maduro will present also the Plan of the Nation 2019-2025 and will give its annual message to all the Venezuelan people, with the balance and achievements of the year 2018.

During the Congress of the Peoples, broadcast by VTV, he said that as part of the inauguration for the mandate 2019-2025, Nicolás Maduro will be sworn in before the Supreme Court on January 10, and that same day will be recognized by the National Armed Forces Bolivarian (FANB). In addition, he will meet with the Venezuelan people.

Maduro will be sworn in on January 10 before the Supreme Court since the National Assembly is in contempt of court since 2016, and therefore their actions are null.

As part of the activities, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) will start on Sunday the camps throughout the country that will accompany the president during his oath, in what Cabello defined as a “big take over of Caracas” to defend the Constitution, to defend President Nicolás Maduro and “to defend our right to live in peace.”
