OT’s Donations Campaign 2020 Started

April 1, 2020

HELP US KEEP BREAKING THE MODEL (April 1st, 2020)

Orinoco Tribune is an independent project that was launched at the end of November, 2018. In less that 2 years we have become a reference for news and opinion pieces with a socialist perspective mainly on Venezuelan and Latin American issues.

As of today according to Alexa, we are ranked at position 235,412 in the world ranking ahead of -already for several months- the legendary Venezuelanalysis.com (currently in position 341,578). Our objective by the end of 2020 is to be in the range of 80.000 – 120.000 to reach the same audience size as Telesur English, The GrayZone or Prensa Latina English (Plenglish).

Due to current world conditions in the era of Coronavirus Pandemic, donations have decrease significantly. So we’re forced to turn on ads. We prefer to run without ads and we will keep monitoring the donation trends hoping to switch off ads in the future. Meanwhile we ask your understanding and encourage you to help us with a donation if you can.

You can make your donations to Orinoco Tribune via PayPal using this form and it goes directly to the paypal account of our Editor, Jesus Rodriguez-Espinoza.

The best donation option for us is the MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION. That allows us to better plan expenses so we encourage you to use this option if you can, clicking on the PATREON button that is in the right sidebar on our website, at the end of each piece we post and below.

We are a small team working 24/7 all year long, without weekend rests or vacations because we are committed to provide information in English about current events in the South with high standards of quality and commitment with responsible journalism.

Thank you for being a loyal reader and for your patronage.

With love and camaraderie

Jesus Rodriguez Espinoza / Elizabeth Ferrari
