The Venezuelan ambassador to the United Nations (UN), Samuel Moncada denounced Donald Trump’s regime for protecting the hitmen who signed the contract to assassinate the president of Venzuela, Nicolás Maduro and authorities of the Venezuelan executive, in turn, which indicated that the military invasion plans against the country are still active.
On his account in the social network Twitter, @SMoncada_VE published an interview where Juan José Rendón, a fugitive from Venezuelan justice and a close collaborator of Juan Guaidó, reaffirms that the actions planned by the extreme right to destabilize the country and forcefully overthrow President Nicolás Maduro, are still in motion.
“Guaidó offered 212 million dollars to US hitmen to kill thousands of Venezuelans and provoke a military invasion. The killers who signed the monstrous contract are protected by Trump and claim that the plans are still in place. Who are the terrorists?” Moncada tweeted.

In the video, Juan Jose Rendón can be seen, saying that “everything that was discussed is still valid”, while at the same time denying his participation in the terrorist operation of last May, despite the fact that his signature is on the contract presented by the arrested mercenaries.
“Apart from the fact that everyone will leave Operation Gideon, we had nothing to do with it. What was worked on in that committee is still valid. The scenarios and actions that were proposed between June and May are still in force,” Rendón stresses.
He explained that the great plans conceived by that committee have not yet been executed, he stressed that what has been done so far are previous actions, arrangements, contacts, lobbying, coordination that he could not reveal in the webinar.

Last Friday, the two Americans hired by the mercenary company Silvercorp, Luke Denman and Airan Berry, were sentenced to 20 years in prison for their participation in the failed terrorist incursion of May 3, after confessing their crime.
Both admitted their participation in the events and confirmed that the United States, Colombia and the Venezuelan extreme right were the organizers of that armed invasion in which it was intended, among other things, to capture Maduro and remove him from the country.
For his part, this Thursday, the Attorney General of the republic, Tarek William Saab reported that 17 mercenaries involved in Operation Gideon, who admitted to executing the facts, had already been charged,
