After clearing immigration protocols and background checks, the citizens received comprehensive medical care, including:
• General evaluations and vital sign measurements;
• Vaccinations and blood screenings for communicable diseases;
• Deworming treatments;
• Specialized gynecological and obstetric care.
Over 150 health professionals provided immediate assistance. Those requiring follow-up care received it, and psychological support was offered.
The Return to the Homeland Program, introduced by President Nicolás Maduro, ensures citizens abroad can return and reintegrate with dignity into Venezuela’s economy.
Two flights a week
Venezuelan Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello recently said repatriation flights now operate twice weekly (Wednesdays and Fridays) in coordination with US authorities.
Abduction of Children: a Weapon of US War Against Venezuelan Migrants
Last Wednesday, 204 Venezuelans were repatriated from Texas, US. That flight landed at SimĂłn BolĂvar International Airport in La Guaira state, bypassing what authorities called “inhuman and racist conditions” under US President Donald Trump’s administration. The group included 157 men, 35 women, and 12 children and adolescents. State agencies provided immediate medical care upon arrival.
The Return to the Homeland Program has returned 7,185 Venezuelans in the first half of 2025, including over 910 children. The program prioritizes human rights for citizens facing abuse abroad, offering resettlement support to rebuild lives and reunite families.
