Maduro Ordered to Expedite the Delivery of CLAP Boxes

This Saturday, January 12, the president, Nicolás Maduro, ordered to expedite the delivery of food boxes that are distributed through Local Committees for Supply and Production (CLAP) to reach a 15 days frequency.

After his inauguration the only front in which the right wingers has been successful it the economic one with a devaluation of the Bolivar in the black market that goes from 700 to 2500 in a matter of days and prices going crazier than ever.

 

This was expressed by the head of state during a meeting he held with officials of the United Nations System of the United Nations, at the Miraflores Palace, Caracas, where he emphasized that “we must stabilize and accelerate the delivery of food. The Clap boxes with their 24 products every 15 days.”

 

He asked the Ministrr of Food, Luis Medina, to expedite this distribution of the Clap boxes and bags to the Venezuelan families and in this way to reach the 100% coverage.

 

“We have to do it because the economic war rages, we can not give a truce. (…) Clap is an effort that does not exist anywhere in the world, (…) we have to guarantee it,” because it is a benefit for 6 million homes.
