Next week will begin the sale of Christmas products through Local Committees of Supply and Production (CLAP), informed this Friday the Venezuelan Head of State Nicolás Maduro.
“The logistic is ready to start next week, through the CLAP’s, the sale of Christmas products, the pernil and the distribution of toys for Venezuelan children”, informed the President.
He also announced that there will be good news in the coming days.
“Long live happiness! Long live Christmas! That spirit of joy that our people have, that people who have been saying for 200 years, yes, we can, “he said.
On Friday, the lights of the Cross of the Waraira Repano (El Avila) were lit as the beginning of the Christmas season 2018, during an act headed by the President from the Miraflores Palace in Caracas.
The Head of State said that the coming year will be of “peace and economic prosperity. Venezuelan children will have a Merry Christmas and renewed hope. ”
He said that the festivities began in the Capital District with the decoration of the historic center of Caracas.
“With the ignition of the Cross of Waraira Repano we will start the Christmas in Caracas. Caracas has been getting prettier with the bright and beautiful streets, “said the president.
