Nov. 13th.- The director of the Institute of Forensic Investigations (IDIF) of Bolivia, Andrés Flores, reported that to date ten people lost their lives, of which eight died from a gun shots, amid the demonstrations that occur in the country after the coup against President Evo Morales. “The IDIF conducted the forensic assessment of 10 bodies nationwide: four are from Santa Cruz, three from Cochabamba, two from La Paz and one from Potosí. Of the total cases, eight lost their lives due to a firearm projectile,” Flores said according to the Bolivian Information Agency, citing an institutional bulletin.
Flores explained on Wednesday that in the last hours the death of Roberth CS of 20 years occurred in the city of Montero, Santa Cruz, and according to the forensic examination the cause of the death was due to penetrating abdominal thoracic trauma by gun shot.
He also said that in Yapacaní the forensic assessment of an unidentified corpse between 16 and 20 years was made, and it was concluded as a cause of death head trauma, penetrated by a firearm projectile.

“In recent days, as a result of confrontations in Montero, the IDIF conducted the forensic examination of Marcelo RTS and Mario S. who lost their lives due to injuries due to a bullet impact,” he added.
Similarly, in the clashes in Betanzos, Potosí, Marcelino JE, 53, lost his life due to traumatic head injury by firearm projectile.
According to the press release, the bodies that were assessed in Cochabamba correspond to 20-year-old Limberth GV and according to the forensic examination the cause of death was due to severe head injury with fracture and sinking of the skull compatible with the application of the overwhelming object.
The second case corresponds to Filemón SD of 45 years, who was found in the EPI Sud zone of the capital and according to the forensic examination he would have been handcuffed at the level of the feet and hands, establishing asphyxia due to loop strangulation.
The third body evaluated in Cochabamba corresponds to Miguel LG, 24, who was found in the municipality of Sacaba and according to the forensic examination, the cause of death was due to head trauma by firearm projectile.
Regarding those killed in La Paz and according to the assessment made by the IDIF, Percy RCN, 32, lost his life due to penetrating abdominal thoracic trauma due to a firearm projectile, and Beltrán PCA, 21 years old, due to penetrating thoracic trauma due to a projectile firearm.
