The Venezuelan government already has kits for the diagnosis of the new coronavirus, President Nicolás Maduro reported Friday during a meeting with representatives of the country’s community governments.
“These kits have been donated by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), yesterday a possible case in the country was ruled out,” said the head of state.
He called on popular power to take preventive measures to face COVID-19, remarking that the country is prepared to face a possible outbreak of the virus.
“All alert and ensure the dissemination of health measures necessary to prevent the spread of the disease,” he said.
This Thursday the president reported that there are studies that show a possible biological war creating a strain to attack China and other countries.
“To stop China’s advance, that is the evil of biological warfare,” he said.
