Venezuelan Minister for Foreign Trade Coromoto Godoy, accompanied by the president of the Export Promotion and Country Brand Agency, Daniella Cabello, held a meeting at the facilities of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), where they reaffirmed their commitment to the economic development of Venezuela and strengthened bilateral and trade relations. In collaboration with the TIM, the “Made in Venezuela” expo fair is being organized for next June.
The information was released by Minister Godoy through a post on the ministry’s official Instagram account, @mincoexve, where it highlighted that, once again, foreign trade relations and exchange between both nations are being strengthened.
Minister Godoy also reported that both delegations are working on holding two fairs that will highlight the quality of products from both countries, one in Caracas and the other in Istanbul.
“With the support of our leaders, President Nicolás Maduro and the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we are working to make two fairs a reality that will highlight the quality of products from both countries, one in Caracas and another in Istanbul,” the ministry wrote in a public statement.
Venezuela and Türkiye strengthen energy cooperation
Last week, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, together with the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye, Alparslan Bayraktar, reviewed joint projects in the fields of oil, gas and mining.
Rodríguez said that the meeting was held with the firm purpose of building “a solid energy alliance in the future between Venezuela and Türkiye.”
A meeting that took place as part of the work agenda that is being carried out in Istanbul, in favor of a “world of balance and peace.”
