The foreign minister of Venezuela, YvĂĄn Gil, condemned the latest statements by US Attorney Pamela Bondi. Recently, Bondi announced that the US had confiscated alleged “assets” belonging to President NicolĂĄs Maduro in the US. Minister Gil referred to this allegation as the latest chapter in âa bad seriesâ staged by the US authorities.
âThe âattorney generalâ [Bondi], instead of explaining her role in covering up the Epstein crimes, invents a story against President NicolĂĄs Maduro and Venezuela, a story worthy of a bad series,â Gil wrote on social media.
In this regard, he highlighted that the alleged confiscated assets announced by Bondi are, in reality, Venezuelan state assets stolen by US authorities. âShe wants to pass off as personal property [of President Maduro] two Venezuelan state aircraft, stolen with the complicity of [Dominican President] Luis Abinader and taken to the US,â Gil explained.

He added that this strategy by US governments has been used against political leaders who were “first called communists, then terrorists, then came stories of weapons of mass destruction, today, of drug trafficking. The lies change, but not the script.â
“The real tycoons are in Washington and Miami, looting CITGO, stealing our gold, and confiscating our assets,â added the minister.
âThis new extravagant performance confirms that they are responding to the revolutionary government’s decisive blows against terrorist groups financed by the [US] State Department,â he wrote in conclusion.
