Only a climate of “social neurosis” could change the current correlation of emotional, social, and political forces that favor the re-election of President Nicolás Maduro in the upcoming presidential elections.
The processes of social destabilization use advanced psychological warfare techniques, and are carried out through a chained succession of extraordinary events that cause uncertainty, anguish, vulnerability, and discontent with anger.
Their objective is to generate these social neuroses about the presidential elections.
Based on the qualitative studies carried out by Hinterlaces, we can identify two large, antagonistic, socio-emotional factors that are repolarizing Venezuelan society.
The first psycho-social factor is associated with an extremist [far-right] vote that wants to end everything. It doesn’t matter who the candidate is or the proposals they offer, nor what will come after their “plans.” I could vote for “anyone.” The dominant feelings are hatred and anguish.
On the contrary, the second psycho-social factor is committed to the future. Evaluate the candidates’ proposals and solutions, find the leader who is a solver and a conciliator. The feelings that describe this factor are hope and resilience. There may be discomfort and worry, but there is no anger or insanity.
It must be emphasized that it is possible to reverse, redefine, or replace this neurosis, for strategic purposes. Therefore, whoever manages the emotional climate of the country better will have greater advantages during these presidential elections.
Without leadership and without a proposal, disconnected from the emotionality and expectations of the majorities, the radical opposition is only left with this neurotic vote and chaos they generate.
