The lateat group of 174 Venezuelan migrants who had been kidnapped in the US empire have returned to the country on a Conviasa flight, as part of the Venezuelan government’s Return to the Homeland program.
In the afternoon of this Wednesday, April 23, the Venezuelan publicly-owned flagship airline flight arrived with the Venezuelans who had been wrongly detained in the US settler entity. The Venezuelans were repatriated from Palmerola International Airport (XPL) in the city of Comayagua, Honduras.
The Palmerola International Airport shares its location with the Soto Cano US Air Base. It is the largest US military base in Central America, with a permanent presence of around 1,800 US military personnel, and was built by the US empire between 1984 and 1985.

To date, the number of Venezuelans who have returned to the country from has so far reached 2,731, thanks to the Return to the Homeland program implemented by the government of President Nicolás Maduro. The program seeks to welcome compatriots and reinsert them into the life of the nation.
Upon making a stopover in Honduras, the necessary diplomatic procedures were followed to complete the trip to Venezuela.
It is worth noting that the Return to the Homeland program, promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, not only facilitates the return of Venezuelan citizens abroad who wish to return to the country, but also offers economic, educational, and legal assistance toward the reintegration of migrants into Venezuelan society.
