The member states of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) condemned “Israel” for its escalation of violence in West Asia following the occupation’s attacks and terrorist actions in Lebanon.
In a statement published on its website on Tuesday, September 24, the alliance described as unacceptable and inhumane “the excessive violence that Israel’s ruling elite has unleashed on neighboring countries.”
“Almost a year after the beginning of this new phase of systematic genocide against the Palestinian people, the Israeli entity is not content with having committed flagrant and systematic violations of the human rights against the Palestinian people and of international law by mercilessly attacking the civilian population of Gaza, but it is also attacking other sovereign States in a constant state of criminality, which ends in the death of innocent civilians and in massive destruction,” it reads.
ALBA-TCP recalled that it has already warned about the seriousness of the escalation of the conflict and the need to put an end to the impunity with which Israel acts.
“Today there are more than 41,431 fatalities in Palestine, more than 100 dead and 400 wounded in Lebanon, in addition to material damage in Gaza, the West Bank, Syria and other countries in the region,” the statement continues.
The member countries of the alliance reiterated their rejection of the “inconceivable impunity with which the State of Israel [the Zionist entity] acts” and ratified that measures must be taken, within the framework of international law, to cease Israeli entity’s violence, genocide and disregard of international rules.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to peace, tolerance and respect for life.
