The law will be applied against “those journalists or pseudo-journalists who are seditious”, whether national or foreign, warned the new Minister of Communication of Bolivia, Roxana LizĂĄrraga.The official called for a “journalism of honesty” and to avoid the “social upheaval” sought by Evo Morales,the embassy of Cuba and Venezuela, who “want to put us on our knees.”
In recent days, Reporters Without Borders has called upon all sectors of Bolivian society to respect journalists as they work to report events in that country.
