Brazil Has Become the Pandemic Epicenter in Latin America

Venezuelan Minister of Communication and Information, Jorge RodrĂguez, pointed out at noon this Saturday, May 2, that Brazil is, at the moment, the epicenter of the coronavirus in Latin America.
During the customary report that the national government spokesmen offer daily about the behavior of this disease in the country, RodrĂguez stressed that this situation represents a danger for Venezuela, due to the large number of Venezuelans currently returning to Venezuela and coming from that bordering nation.

“Brazil has become, today, the epicenter of the pandemic throughout South America and the Caribbean,” he said.
The also vice president of Communication, Culture and Tourism highlighted that, so far, 1,685 Venezuelan migrants have entered Venezuela from Brazil through BolĂvar state.
