“Comuna El Maizal” Occupied Unproductive Lands

January 22, 2019

The combative “Comuna El Maizal” base in the Simon Plana’s municipality of Lara State ocupéis unproductive land yesterday.

— Comuna El Maizal (@ComunaElMaizal) January 21, 2019

The announcement was made public yesterday in the twitter account of the Commune and they explained that they are just entering the premises of the land and are planning to evaluate the conditions of it, from there they will propose a plan of action.

The Venezuelan government has promoted the empowerment of communes all over Venezuela but in recent yearS due to the economic war they have also been affected by the general economic situation of the country.
