This Thursday the president of the National Constituent Assembly, Diosdado Cabello, reported on his account on the twitter network, that he is continuing to improve and progressing in the recovery process, after being infected with Covid-19.
Cabello, who is also first vice-president of the country’s main political party, the Psuv, tested positive for coronavirus on July 9, and since then he has been undergoing a treatment process, following medical advice.

There are several officials of the national government who have contracted the disease, as well as those who live in the opposition, Tareck El Aissami, Vice President for the Economic Area and Minister for Petroleum, the Governor of Zulia, Omar Prieto, Julio León de Yaracuy, among others, the opposition deputy to the National Assembly (AN) for the Delta Amacuro state, José Antonio Spain.

In the last hours there was speculation about the health of the constituent, however today doubts about the state of recovery from the new coronavirus were cleared up.
As of Thursday, Venezuela reported 701 new cases of the virus, a record number since the first case registered in the country mid-March.
